Aniv Life:
Introduce yourself and your band
Vasi:
My name is Vasi Lichtenberg, I am singer in Caesarius, and I am founder, and I am manager.
Vitaly:
My name is Vitaly Veerbull and I am drummer in Caesarius.
Vasi:
Unfortunately other members can't be here today, we'll tell you about them next time.
AL:
The first question may seem trivial. But why Caesarius?
Vasi:
To be honestly, the story is simple. When I created the band, me and other members decided to pick a name for the band. And we came on rehearsal with a lot of name variants. And we chose Caesarius because it wasn't been used by anyone...
AL:
About the music. What is the source of inspiration?
Vasi:
Other bands. Any life situations. Social, political, anything. Mythology...
AL:
The band is very young but at the same time there is arleady the first demo "Kingdom Of Fun". What is this song about? What is special about it?
Vasi:
It was the very first song I wrote, so it's a bit different genre. It was written long before the founding of Caesarius and I was looking for musicians who could play it. I wrote it spontaneously, inspiration came down and I just... Few months ago I even didn't know tabs or chords and I was faced with some troubles. Because I had to write all the notes for the song. All the guitars, all the drums... I hadn't any musical school, so I should to do it by myself and only by myself. So I did it. In Guitar Pro. When musicians were found, we made some changes of course.
Vitaly:
Yes, on arrangements.
Vasi:
Right. And after we recorded this demo.
AL:
As far as I know, the band has plans to organize their own metal festival. I was really surprised. How did you organazie it from scratch? I don't know of such bands right off the bat making so big plans. I really hope it will be great. So... How do you do all of this things?
Vasi:
We had only one concert and I realized that we need to achive. We're too young to perform as solo band, so we're also too young to play with big bands as Epidemia or kinda. So I think that it's a good idea to make our own festival. I called the bands I know with similar level. That will be real metal fest. Two power metal bands, two trash metal bands and one industrial metal. All of them are good ones, I think.
AL:
It struck me. The level is unexpectedly serious. Not the level of organization of course, that's very hard for a young band. But it's a serious attitude. So, how was your first concert? What are your impressions on it?
Vasi:
The first concert was surprisingly very good.
Vitaly:
The members of Caesarius didn't have a great experience of performances, as I know, none of them performed before this concert. But I did quiet a lot. But I took a break for three years. I entired the same water a second time. Everything was fine, everything went like clockwork.
AL:
When I read about the band, I noticed that your professionalism is not something that is not typical, it's very unusual. I had "a pattern interrupt". How it was possible to build everything so clearly, to find such a good members, to record the demo... Does anybody produce it?
Vasi:
I can easily say that it's just me and guys doing it. We do everything by ourselves. We have a great desire to achieve something more.
AL:
That's great that you did it just because of you just wanted to. I wish you not to lose that fuse. What could be the wishes to our audience and your listeners?
Vasi:
I wish you a good mood, every succes in your work, and attend concerts!
Vitaly:
I wish you to love the music, all kinds of music. Good luck and happiness to all!
